Carlos Baleba has travelled to London with Manchester United and could make his debut in Sunday’s Premier League game against Fulham.

The midfielder was included in a 23-man travelling group alongside Luke Shaw and Matthijs de Ligt, giving Michael Carrick several potential additions to his squad at Craven Cottage.

Baleba has yet to feature for United following his £70 million summer move. His inclusion in the travelling party puts him in contention to make his first appearance for the club against Fulham.

De Ligt also travelled after a lengthy absence. The defender has not played since November and could return to Carrick’s squad after almost ten months out.

Shaw was another member of the travelling party. Carrick had indicated ahead of the game that players could return for the trip to Fulham.

United travelled with 23 players, more than can be named in the matchday squad. At least three members of the travelling party will therefore miss out on the final selection.

Benjamin Šeško was not spotted among the players travelling to London.
