Tottenham Hotspur will arrive at Old Trafford for Manchester United’s next Premier League fixture sitting bottom of the table following the weekend’s results.
Spurs slipped to 20th place after their 3-2 home defeat to Aston Villa and Sunday’s remaining Premier League matches.
It is Tottenham’s lowest Premier League position since 2009.
United’s next league fixture is against Tottenham at Old Trafford on Saturday 10 October, following the international break.
The match has been selected for live television coverage and will kick off at 5:30pm BST.
Michael Carrick’s side will enter the break with five points from their opening five Premier League matches after Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Fulham.
Tottenham are also without a league victory this season, with their defeat to Villa extending their winless start to five matches.
Both clubs therefore have three weeks before they meet at Old Trafford.
